DA (Dearness allowance) increased: Government take decision to hike 4% dearness allowance, Central Govt. Employees may get 38% DA from july’2022

7th Pay Commission: In the meeting of the Union Cabinet, the proposal to increase the Dearness Allowance (DA) to the central govt. employees by 4 percent has approved. The Cabinet has approved the proposal to hike the dearness allowance of central govt. employees. Ahead of the festive season, the central govt has to be announced DA hike very soon.
But, its official statement has not been announced yet. The official announcement of the hiked DA can be made on 27th September i.e. on the occasion of Navratri. This increased DA will be paid from 1st July 2022. The Central govt employees will also get increased DA along with the salary of September 2022.
Recently, the All India Consumer Price Index-Industrial Workers (AICPI-IW) has released the data for the first half of the current financial year. The index gained 0.2 points. In view of this increase in the index, the government has increased the DA by 4 %.

According to the AICPIN, the government decides the rate of DA to the govt employees. This benefit will be effect from 1st July 2022 for all Central Govt. Employees & Pensioners. Also paid with DA arrear of July, August & September
Behind increased 4 % of DA, the total dearness allowance to the central employees has gone up to 38 % of his/her basic salary. Along with the salary of September, the employees will get the increased DA as well as they will also get the money for the arrears of July and August. This decision of the government will benefit more than one crore central govt. employees and pensioners.
That, hiked in salary according to the 7th Pay Commission, the minimum basic salary is Rs 18,000. According to 38 % DA, there will be a total increase of Rs 6,840.00 in the annual on the basic salary of Rs 18,000. The central government employees are expected to get a fat amount this festival season also.
