According to reports, the Union Cabinet will be taken a decision about the minimum wage of Central Govt. Employees.
7th CPC Latest News: GOOD NEWS for Central Govt. Employees, the minimum wages are likely to be hiked by ₹ 8,000 (Rs. 18,000 to 26,000) as recommended by Union Cabinet.
The Narendra Modi govt. is likely to decide positively on the issue of hiking employees minimum wage. Notably, the central government employees have been demanding a hike in their minimum wages for a long time.
From Sources, the Union Cabinet will take the decision regarding hiking of minimum wages in next month. Official announcement will be made after the proposal approved by Cabinet.
The Central government employees who have been waiting for a hike in their minimum wages might have to wait a long as the Narendra Modi-led Centre has not issued any order on revising their salary beyond the recommendations of 7th Pay Commission.
However, the Modi Govt. would take an important decision about the minimum hike of wages for central government employees by the end of December as a New year gift.
The government employees were hopeful that the Centre would announce a pay hike in December after media reports claimed that the Union Cabinet, in its November 10 meeting took some major decisions and Ministry of Finance will make an official announcement soon.
