65500 Employees will be removed from BSNL; Employees Union protest.
Presently, BSNL has 1.65 lakh employees. Among them 65500 employees will be removed from their service and rest 1 lakh employees will be still working with Company.
BSNL Chairman Pravin Kumar Purwar said that 45% to 50% employees from state-run telecom carrier will be removed from their service on Voluntary Retirement Scheme (VRS).
Employees Union has protest the company’s decision and many employees still haven’t received their salary for the month of August.
BSNL Confirms: 50% Employees will gone to Leave.
In an interview, BSNL’s Chairman Pravin Kumar Purwar has confirmed that rearly 50% employees will be asked to leave from state run telecom carrier on VRS basis.
He said, one of the proposal under discussion about VRS retirement. We are looking forward to 60,000 to 65,000 employees and make it pretty for the employees, so that they can notice value on VRS.
VRS (Voluntary Retirement Scheme) will be offered to these 50% employees in the coming day.
When asked how will the manage Man-power if so many employees leave, then he said that after removing 65,500 employees, 1 lakh employees will be still working with our BSNL Company.
He said, “The staff cost in BSNL and MTNL can be reduced. We all know that BSNL’s employees cost is 75% of the Company revenue. The number of staff in the organisation are far higher than the competitors. The primary objective here is to save money then BSNL can survive in future.”
Employees Union has protest the company’s decision.
As per statement of P. Abhimanyu, general secretary of BSNL Employees Union, employees protest have erupted all across the nation and still haven’t received their salary for the month of August’2019.
Besides, nearly 60% contract workers haven’t received their salaries ever since February’2019
He said, more than 2K employees have already been asked to leave and more employees to take VRS from the company.

1. full time dena podega company ko.
2. Company ka kaam ko Khudka kaam jeisa samajhna podega.
3. Jimedari lena podega hor kaam ko.
4. Khudko achha insaan somjhna podega.
5. Abhi ye samajhna podega ki sarkari naukri aur private naukri sob same hai.
